The Journey
The Journey of Himalayan Pink Salt: From Mountain to Table
Origins
Before reaching your table, Himalayan Pink Salt begins its journey deep within the majestic salt ranges of Pakistan. Spanning over 2,500 sq. km between the Jhelum and Indus rivers, this ancient salt deposit was once part of the Mesozoic Sea. Over millions of years, the sea evaporated, leaving behind thick layers of crystallized salt that eventually formed towering mountains.

Mining
Harvested with care, the salt is hand-mined using traditional pickaxes, preserving its purity and natural structure. Large chunks are carefully extracted, creating breathtaking salt caves within the mountains.
Transport
These raw salt blocks are then transported to our processing facility, where they undergo meticulous sorting and refinement.
Processing & Quality Control
At our facility, each batch of salt is visually inspected and graded based on color and purity. It is then crushed into various grain sizes before undergoing rigorous Quality Control (QC). Our QC team tests the salt’s chemical composition, ensuring minimal insoluble content while strictly adhering to FDA regulations.
Packaging
Once approved, the salt is carefully packaged into eco-friendly, biodegradable kraft paper pouches, elegant glass grinders, shakers, and reusable jars preserving its freshness while reducing environmental impact.
Shipping
Finally, the packaged salt embarks on its last journey to warehouses, retail stores, and supermarkets, bringing the purity of the Himalayas straight to your home.
